Evangelism & Outreach

There are many facets to the Evangelism and Outreach Ministry here at Praise Cathedral. The Barnyard flea market ministry meets weekly to have a Sunday morning service for those who cannot attend a regular Sunday service. The Prayer Station concept of witnessing and ministering is utilized during the warm weather months in various venues to again meet the spiritual needs of those people who do not attend service in a regular church setting. Individuals with special needs, such as home repair, are assisted on an emergency basis. Other local ministries, such as Greer Community Ministries, Triune Mercy Center, Brushy Creek AG Food Pantry and Christ Central Ministries, partner with Praise Cathedral as we reach out to the local area. By working with ministries already in operation, we can reach many more individuals and families. Many of our church family volunteer on a regular basis in these area ministries. Evangelism training is a constant at Praise Cathedral as evidenced through Way of the Master and Discipleship Explored classes. The Great Commission is taught and encouraged to be put into practice at every opportunity. Weekly prayer services are held around the church campus at various times also. Men’s Bible Studies are conducted on a weekly basis along with Men’s LifePointe groups to aid our men in meeting life’s challenges. Everyone is invited to attend one of these groups at your convenience. Please feel free to contact the Evangelism and Outreach Pastor, Rick Wofford, for more information on any of the above items.
