Devotional
Why do bad things happen to good people? This question has plagued humanity for centuries. Uriah’s story is a poignant example of this dilemma. Despite his loyalty and bravery, he suffered a tragic and unjust fate. Similarly, we often witness or experience suffering that seems undeserved. It is natural to question why such things happen. However, in these moments of doubt and confusion, we are called to look to the cross. Jesus Christ, the innocent Lamb of God, suffered the ultimate injustice for our sake. His crucifixion is a reminder that God understands our suffering and is with us in our pain. When life doesn’t make sense, we can find solace and assurance in God’s unwavering love.
Bible Verse
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7
