Hope kept him going. Hope kept him persevering. We are driven by hope. The first-century church, despite facing intense persecution, found strength and courage in the promise of a new heaven and a new earth. This hope enabled them to endure with joy and unwavering faith. Today, we are challenged to reflect on whether we have traded eternal hope for temporal pursuits. Our hope should be anchored in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, providing us with a ‘living hope’ for an eternal inheritance. Let this hope drive you to live each day with purpose and joy.
