Continuing our reflection, Colossians 1:16 reveals another incredible truth about Jesus: ‘For by him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible.’ Jesus is not only the image of God but also the Creator of everything. This means that everything we see and even what we cannot see was made by Him and for Him. This should give us a sense of purpose and belonging, knowing that we are part of His creation. As we go about our daily lives, let’s remember that we are created by Jesus and for Jesus, and let this truth guide our actions and decisions.
