Devotional
Pride can be like invisible chains, binding us to paths of destruction while convincing us we’re standing strong. It whispers that we’re right when we’re wrong, that we’re strong when we’re weak, and that admitting failure is worse than continuing in error. But true strength lies in humility – in being able to acknowledge our mistakes and turn to God for help. When we release our grip on pride, we open our hands to receive God’s grace. Remember, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Bible Verse
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” – Proverbs 11:2
