Colossians 1:20 reminds us of the purpose of the Incarnation: ‘And by him to reconcile all things to Himself by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of his cross.’ Jesus came to reconcile us to God, to bridge the gap caused by sin. This reconciliation brings peace and restores our relationship with God. As we celebrate Christmas, let’s not forget the ultimate reason for Jesus’ birth: to bring us back to God. Let this truth fill us with gratitude and inspire us to live in harmony with God and others.
