Devotional
In our journey of faith, it’s crucial to remember our true identity in Christ. Like Jonah, we can sometimes forget who we are and whose we are. Our primary calling isn’t to achieve great things for God, but to be faithful followers who point others to Him. When we lose sight of this truth, we risk trading our identity in Christ for lesser things. Today, remember that you are first and foremost a child of God, loved and valued not for what you do, but for who you are in Him.

Bible Verse
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” – 1 Peter 2:9

Reflection Question
What roles or achievements in your life might be competing with your identity as a child of God?

Quote
Don’t trade who you are as a believer for any other calling of life.

Prayer
Father, help me remember who I am in You. Keep me focused on my true identity as Your child. Thank You for choosing me and loving me unconditionally. Amen.
