Devotional
Sometimes God allows us to experience the consequences of our choices not to punish us, but to redirect us. Like a loving parent who lets their child learn from minor mistakes to prevent major ones later, God’s correction is an expression of His love. When we find ourselves in difficult situations, instead of becoming bitter or resentful, we can choose to see these moments as opportunities for growth and deeper reliance on God.
Bible Verse
“Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way.” – 1 Corinthians 12:31
Reflection Question
How have past challenges or corrections from God ultimately led to positive growth in your life?
Quote
“Be careful rescuing people that God is letting sink. Because you may save them from the very lesson God’s trying to teach them.” -Pastor Jerry Madden
Prayer
God, thank You for loving me enough to correct me. Help me embrace Your guidance, even when it’s uncomfortable. Shape me into who You want me to be. Amen.
