Devotional
The Gospel is my joy. The word gospel translates to joyous proclamation. True joy comes from understanding that Jesus Christ has already done the work for us, and there is nothing left for us to add. There’s nothing today that I have to do. His work is already finished. It’s already settled. As we gather around our holiday tables, let us focus on the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ, which promises us a future that cannot be taken away. Let this joyous proclamation fill our hearts with true joy and peace.
Bible Verse
To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me. – Colossians 1:29
