Devotional
Have you ever felt insignificant in the grand scheme of things? It’s easy to look at the world’s challenges and think, ‘What difference can one person make?’ Yet throughout history, God has consistently used individuals to create ripple effects of transformation. Think about your own faith journey. Chances are, you can trace it back to one person who introduced you to Jesus. That person probably didn’t realize the full impact of their faithfulness at the time. They simply showed up, shared their faith, and allowed God to work through them. This truth should both humble and inspire us. We don’t need to be extraordinary; we just need to be available. God specializes in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. When we make ourselves available to God’s purposes, He can use us in ways we never imagined.
Bible Verse
‘For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.’ – Romans 11:29
Reflection Question
Who was the person who most influenced your faith journey, and how can you carry forward their legacy of impact in someone else’s life?
Quote
“Most of us are (believers) because one person had a cause, and that cause was Jesus Christ. Thus we must take up the cause for the kingdom.”
Prayer
Lord, thank you for the people You’ve used to shape my faith journey. Help me to be that person for others. Give me the courage to step out in faith and the wisdom to recognize the opportunities You provide. Amen.
